Really good episode, especially seeing the dynamics between Kotani and Wanda, and how they are connected by dancing, as well as pretty much great character development for Kotani.

Episode Context

The competition floor opens up and the stakes become real. Episode 10 shifts Wandance into full tournament mode as the Inter-High Dance Battle's solo division begins, bringing a surge of adrenaline and anxiety in equal measure. Expect a tonal shift toward intensity, the carefree experimentation of earlier episodes gives way to the crushing pressure of performing under judgment. Kabo, Hikari, On, and Iori each face their own psychological battles before a single move is even thrown down. Madhouse leans into the contrast between explosive dance sequences and quiet, introspective beats where self-doubt creeps in. This is the kind of sports anime episode that understands competition is fought internally before it ever plays out physically. The pacing rewards patience, building tension methodically rather than rushing to results.
