Wandance

What a beautiful final episode. Seeing Kotani's love for dance while battling Kabeya as well as his character development has been one of the factors why I love this series despite its technical limitations. Also the CGI notwithstanding, the 2D animation involved is always always amazing.

The pacing of this episode is rather off, but I love the dynamics between On and Itsukushima, and I honestly root for them both to succeed in a lot of things.

Really good episode, especially seeing the dynamics between Kotani and Wanda, and how they are connected by dancing, as well as pretty much great character development for Kotani.

Kabeya is among my favorite dancers in the manga, and the way this episode portrayed him is totally up my alley. It's also fun seeing Wanda and Kotani interact with other dancers, too.

Another episode that has better CGI compared to the others, it would have improved the quality of this anime if this kind of animation was consistent. It's a very technical episode, but I honestly like it that way, not to mention a good introduction for Kabeya.

This is a rather emotionally complex episode, especially seeing the differences between Kotani and Wanda, but seeing Wanda's past raises the stakes at some point.

Giving this episode a better rating due to improved visuals (and a much smoother CGI part this time with 2D visuals to match) this time, not to mention

This episode is making me wish the dances were animated by 2D instead of 3D because the 2D cuts of Kotani's dance while in a battle with Itsukushima were simply amazing. Overall, despite the buggy CGI, it's still a good episode with sharp character analysis of everyone.

Another great episode that sadly got bogged down by the buggy CGI. Really great background dives onto Itsukushima and Nikami though. Among the highlights of Wandance is that other dancers get brief spotlights as well, and it's shown in this episode.

I've learned to watch this and not mind the totally buggy CGI, and this is among the episodes with the actual good CGI animation. All in all, this was a good episode as usual, especially the explanations about the dance contests and the analysis of moves.

Big improvement on the episode, though the buggy CGI still bugs a lot. The good directing and the 2D are excellent though. It's also fun to see Kotani and Wanda's interactions and their shared love of dance though.

I absolutely love the manga, so this kind of premiere with somewhat lukewarm 3D CGI dancing took some of the enjoyment of me. Good premiere episode though.

Great anime in terms of the 2D parts, but the 3D CGI for the dances were terrible. It's a shamme considering how good the story is.

Classico anime, incentrato sulla danza che comuque ha avuto un discreto successo. Qualità di animazione è fatta bene, ideale per vedere qualcosa di leggero. E' sulla scia di Skip8 tipo.

It's so satisfying that they're now out here and killing it on stage! Huge development for Kabo, maybe a little bit too fast even 😅 but the payoff is great. Their whole routine was good too but I wish it looked better in some ways.

The 3D animation got me feeling disappointed, but that same disappointment gave me more room to appreciate Kabo's efforts to open himself up better, especially with Wanda's help. Also, the OP and ED songs got me looping them, and I got humbled by Scatman John.
