Episode Context

As the final episode of the 24-episode season, this concludes the political and personal conflicts that escalated sharply from Episode 21 onward, where Canute's transformation and Askeladd's shifting allegiances created an unstable powder keg. The fallout from Episode 23's betrayals and strategic gambits reaches its breaking point here, delivering definitive resolutions for several character arcs while explicitly reframing the entire season as setup for the story's true direction ahead.
