Episode Context

Following 'Somewhere Not Here,' which established the world and its stakes, 'Sword' functions as essential groundwork, deepening the audience's understanding of Thors' past and the ideological tensions that will drive the entire season. This is episode two of twenty-four, firmly in the foundation-laying phase where character motivation matters more than spectacle. The threads laid here feed directly into episode three, 'Troll,' where consequences begin catching up.
