EPISODE REVIEWS

I'm definitely going to miss those peaceful, quiet farming days! Anyway, I'm starting to like Thorgil now. Let's see what happens next

Episode Context

Sitting precisely at the season's halfway mark, Episode 12 functions as the critical hinge between the slower, character-driven first half and the escalating conflict that will define the back twelve episodes. Episode 11 laid the groundwork with rising political tensions and personal ambitions colliding around Ketil's farm; 'For Lost Love' converts that simmering pressure into irreversible action. The consequences set in motion here, particularly through Olmar's recklessness and Canute's strategy, will cascade directly into the season's more intense second half.
