EPISODE REVIEWS

Man, I feel really bad for Ketil, and this episode completely changed my mind about Canute. Either way, it was a great and highly engaging episode.

Episode Context

Arriving at the midpoint of a 24-episode season, 'Kings and Swords' pivots from the personal progress Thorfinn and Einar achieved in 'The Cursed Head' to the broader political forces that will inevitably collide with their world on Ketil's farm. This episode functions as a critical bridge, threading together the intimate character arcs of the first half with the large-scale conflicts brewing for the second, laying essential groundwork for the power struggles and confrontations ahead.
