EPISODE REVIEWS

In chapter 8, honestly, half of it doesn't have anything relevant; out of the whole episode, only the final part seemed interesting to me. It's an episode where important topics aren't really touched upon, except for the fact that Zero starts working as a vampire hunter, even though he is a vampire himself. It's a flat chapter that doesn't contribute much to the anime's overall theme and introduces a character whose purpose we don't really understand for now.

The action scenes actually feel like they're getting slightly better in this episode! But the non-action moments stole the show—this was such an intense and suffocatingly oppressive chapter. Character designs remain incredibly delicate, beautiful, and captivating. I’m on the edge of my seat waiting to see the true face of that mysterious figure from the ending!

This episode further explores Kaname's status and the extent of his influence in the vampire world. It also hints at a tense conflict between vampire and vampire-hunting organizations. And it features some much-needed action scenes.
