The animation was vividly dreamy at first and it got so distinct with the monster gathering. Tora was so powerful and really can’t believe how good he fought. Omamori was a GOAT here, my girl deserves the recognition.
Peak Tora in this episode. He hasn't fully let go of his tsundere tendency but the acceptance of his name is important growth to his character and unwittingly swore alliance with Ushio. There could be a slight change of dynamic in the duo going forward, but depends whether it'd be subtle or not in this episodic series.
The battle scenes in this episode is astonishing! This episode dive deeper into Ushio's past as we get to know more about his mother as well. So far the episodes keep getting interesting and much more intense!
