A continuation of Aotsuki’s journey. Tora getting all excited was definitely CUTE. There will not be relaxing moments for these two, I SWEAR. The lore was heavy and gave a negative energy. The build up was intense and it was GOOD.
The repeated conflict of Tora helping Ushio has not gone stale since there are different youkais with different perspective and motivation that allows Tora for self-reflection. All the while, the deep lore is dive even deeper as we got closer to the hidden truth of Ushio's mom in the middle of a violent situation, making a great hook and tension for the next episode.
So far the plot seems to be thickens. We get a glance of Tora's past as well regarding to one character who related to Ushio. There's a bit of a fighting scene however this episode more focus on the lore side which I much more keen into.
