The introduction of Princess Kurama and her clan's weird kissing rules is exactly the kind of unhinged 80s humor I'm here for. The animation shines during the alien ship scenes, keeping that vibrant pop-art style looking fresh. It’s episodic nonsense in the best way possible lol.

New character, new dynamics! Our princess in this episode is so thirsty lmfao 😆 The rules and traditions in this episode are so absurd, and the punchline was pretty funny. The resolution's surprisingly nice... Good cohesive ep that isn't split into two segments.

Well, that was a surprisingly empowering episode, which actually ended up sending a decent message. The randomness of this anime is kind of exciting, and it's always a wonder what's gonna happen next. The crows beating up their elder at every possible opportunity was quite entertaining.

Episode Context

Coming off Episode 3's deeper dive into Mendō's character, Episode 4 expands the cast roster with Princess Kurama, a move that significantly broadens the show's comedic playground and relationship web. At episode 4 of 23, the series is still in active world-building mode, stacking new characters and rivalries that will fuel conflicts throughout the season. This entry serves as a key expansion point, establishing dynamics that promise increasingly tangled and entertaining scenarios ahead.
