This episode introduces us to Sakura! The exorcism scenes in the first half are comedy gold hahaha. Since it's split into two 11-minute stories, the pacing is super fast and punchy. The voice acting is top-tier, and Ataru's sheer desperation is hilarious. Definitely a W if you love crazy physical comedy.

Ataru is such an idiot lol 😂 But whether he’s an unlucky or lucky idiot, is a whole other story 🤣 It’s hilarious how an occult-heavy segment still keeps such unserious and lighthearted energy!! And the gag on the second half is equally as bright and cheerful as the yellow ribbon of happiness 😆 Lum’s so cute!!

I'm surprised Ataru is actually not dead at this point. Another absolutely chaotic episode with an introduction with a pretty funny side-character. Gotta love it when the main character ACCIDENTALLY grabs some boobs while he's just trying to go about his day, TOTALLY an accident.

Episode Context

Coming off the explosive first episode that established Ataru and Lum's involuntary engagement, this episode deepens their dysfunctional dynamic while broadening the world with key supporting players like Sakura and Cherry. It's still early foundation-building in a 23-episode season, prioritizing character introductions and comedic tone-setting over any serialized plot. These new additions create the ensemble framework that will fuel increasingly elaborate comedic scenarios throughout the season.
