Mendo's little sister Ryoko is an absolute menace! The life-sized board game at the Mendo estate is peak anime nonsense. The trap doors and mochi-eating contests are animated so fluidly. They really dialed up the rich-kid tropes to an insane degree, might not be your cup of tea if you hate game shows.

Oooh, a sibling segment for poor Mendo 🤣The new girlie is so quirky lol 💀Everyone’s New Years outfits are so nice, but the humor feels extra random in this ep…

Nope, Ataru is right back to his usual antics; the newly introduced character is an absolute troll, though, unlike her brother. The latter half of the episode was complete chaos; that house was like Lum said, "completely bonkers".

Episode Context

Coming off Episode 10's more emotionally charged Parents' Day storyline and Lum's brief departure, Episode 11 pivots hard back into pure comedy while meaningfully expanding the cast by introducing Ryoko Mendo as a recurring agent of chaos. Sitting at the midpoint of the 23-episode season, this episode enriches the Mendo family dynamic and establishes Ryoko as a key player whose schemes and sibling rivalry with Shuutarou will fuel comedic scenarios in episodes to come.
