Raku without glasses is a whole different person and I need everyone to acknowledge that. Also that fever diagnosis moment had me screaming at my screen the whole time

Episode Context

Episode 8's cultural festival brought Ito to a clearer recognition of her feelings for Gen and left Raku in possession of that knowledge. Episode 9 moves that emotional thread out of the public setting and into the Narita home, using a birthday celebration to test how Ito manages those feelings in close quarters with the whole family present. The episode holds the romantic tension in place without resolving it, deepening character dynamics ahead of the season's second half.
