I was NOT ready for the balcony scene. Gen saying tomorrow is the day his mom passed and that's why he insisted on making Christmas jolly for his brothers. My favorite tsundere just got rewritten in my head entirely

Episode Context

Episode 12 is a holiday episode built on the lingering awkwardness between Ito and Gen after the school trip. The first half runs on romantic-comedy pacing: Ito's anxious curiosity plays against Gen's detached manner, and a social outing generates light, teasing tension. The second half turns inward as the Narita household prepares for Christmas Eve, with Ito, Gen, Raku, Syu, Rui, Isao, and Saho filling the domestic scenes.
