Covers ch 60-63 of the manga. Even though the studio skipped some stuff the adaptation was fine at start up until the part where Makoto left the examination venue. The studio downplayed Makoto's strength, they omitted the part during the examination where he unintentionally made every ball that came into the vicinity of his mana explode. They also omitted the part where his fellow examiners couldn't believe what he had done and started probing him but ended up looking incredulous.
