Episode Context

Episode 3 follows the reintroduction of Hibiki and Tomoki in the previous episode and escalates their storyline into direct collaboration, marking the first real test of their uneasy alliance against the demon forces. Positioned early in a 25-episode season, this installment lays critical groundwork for the hero dynamics and military conflicts that will ripple through the coming arcs. Meanwhile, Makoto's own trajectory remains in play, and the friction established here between the two heroes promises significant complications down the line.
