Episode Context

This episode follows directly from Makoto's decision to establish himself at Rotsgard Academy, pivoting Season 2 away from pure combat encounters toward a more grounded, slice-of-life adjacent stretch. Sitting at episode 5 of 25, it's firmly in early-season setup territory, building the foundation for Makoto's expanding influence in the human world. The groundwork laid here with the academy feeds into broader developments, including Makoto's next move into opening a shop in Rotsgard.
