okayyyy sooo the grand finale connects the personal journeys of jil neeba kaaya and fatina Instead of opting for a cliched happily ever after ending it seeks a more practical meaning with a message about choices ramifications and doing things together❤️❤️
the second to last episode completely alters the mythos of the series the long standing secrets that relate to Gilgamesh the godly power and the real meaning of the Sword of Uruk are finally revealed it features action packed fights with the adequate narrative payoff😮😮
Okayy so everyone finally crashes together in the high altitude zones the towers top is right there these fights get desperate as the environment really tests what people are made of losing things is just unavoidable now everyone is pushed to their absolute limit😮💨
Oh my god the group really needs to get their act together and fast they just found a spy among them which ruins everything wahhh now they have to figure out a rescue mission while the world outside the tower starts to lose its mind😣😣
And so jil and neeba finally cross paths and everything goes south theyre stuck fighting Pazuzu monsters together lol but things get messy fast hidden motives and big betrayals pop up everywhere making everyone rethink whos actually on their side hahahah😅
Soo the group stumbles upon this lush quiet mansion it feels totally out of place out here😨 Once inside illusions of dead friends and family show up to mess with their heads it works just as they drop their guard a real-world ambush hits It's easily one of the shows most haunting moments😱
Okayyy in episode 6 assassins hit Neebas group at the same time they went after jils party too it all happened in different parts of the tower😖😖
In episode 5 jils crew is stuck in this brutal sun-baked wasteland inside the tower they have to fight monsters that can only be killed by shadows but there’s almost zero shade anywhere lol its a total mess the party needs to think fast to survive this classic gimmick floor setup really works because the tactics are actually clever
Okayy so things are falling apart pretty fast the group finds some really dark stuff about King Gilgamesh and what Kaaya is actually planning lol but the worst part they finally see what’s waiting at the top🤯
group of adventurers arrives at Meltland with the intention of getting assistance from Melt who has become a wealthy and arrogant businessman lol it does not take long for greed and betrayal to come into play when Gilgameshs men surround Melt😝😝
Sooo okay from the previous episode jil got his vision that ki this girl so what is this girl some kind of wanted😭 because like they are trying to find her everywhere just to capture herr and who knows what the city is lockdown and the struggle to escape arghhh
Jil was still coping tho with the betrayal then now he met a girl that is haunted by a mysterious soldier omg😨
Yippee, it’s our grand finale~! It really feels like the actual final, FINAL boss of an RPG lol 😆 The apocalyptic energy and pure chaos just really sells it. And of course, there’s even a little bit of that “protag and his friends fueled with the power of friendship about to kill god” vibe lmfao. I love the sibling rivalry theme going on too… It’s a fun watch for sure.
Very heart-pumping penultimate episode! The fight scenes are seriously cool with HUGE boss battle energy, and it truly feels like we’re very near the finish line!! I can’t take my eyes off the screen with all the intense action and beautiful emotional moments~!! The way the episode ends got me feeling shook 😳
Wow, the action is so exciting to watch!! This ep captures the feeling of clearing out some dungeon levels and trying to reach the ultimate boss fight in a video game for sure lol. Very intense JRPG vibes with the combo of shonen energy and fantasy feels here 😌
OMG the energy of this episode is crazy intense. Things are getting so serious 😩 All the trouble, action, and emotion brewing in this ep is so entertaining!! Excellent episode with a good balance of storytelling elements~!
Whoa, lots of tension and build-up in this entertaining episode. And some of the reveals are quite interesting, especially from Neeba… 😳 Really nice worldbuilding and lore here~! Can’t wait to see what happens next!!
I was so ready for this ending to disappoint me but nope it nailed it. The emotional payoff for the main cast is really satisfying. And the music during the climax is really good.
They absolutely went all out with the animation here. Both battles look incredible and I love how differently they're presented. The action is dynamic but it's the emotional weight behind every fight that really sells it. Jil finally stepping up was such a great moment.
The pacing gets really fast as they finally reach the upper doors. To nitpick a little though, I don't like how conveniently some of the obstacles were cleared. I know they're on a time crunch but this time it just feels rushed? You know that feeling when a show is desperately trying to wrap up side plots? Still, seeing the shadow of the final boss appearing over them was visually stunning.
