In episode 5 jils crew is stuck in this brutal sun-baked wasteland inside the tower they have to fight monsters that can only be killed by shadows but there’s almost zero shade anywhere lol its a total mess the party needs to think fast to survive this classic gimmick floor setup really works because the tactics are actually clever

Okay, this was basically a giant gimmick fight but it was sick! The contrast between the blinding landscape and the shadow monsters is visually fantastic. The pacing is super fast. It felt like watching someone figure out a puzzle boss in a video game.

Our parties are facing such a scary horde of enemies 😱 Kinda overly intense for the first level of this mythical climb 😆? And King Gilgamesh is equally as over-the-top intimidating 😭 No wonder they threw in some random fanservice in this ep, it’s to make your brain take a break from the serious stuff 🤣
