EPISODE REVIEWS

I still can't adjust to how much Koharu has changed. I really miss her upbeat and jolly personality so much. That said, this is perhaps her most unfiltered form, something that she only keeps to herself. After all, it's a very common thing for happy people to be miserable inside. On another note, I really appreciate the craftsmanship in this episode, especially the time-lapse. I just like how it looks, be it the color or the mood within it.

I understand why people call her anger emotional whiplash but honestly I get it. She's vomiting constantly and her mouth hurts and she can't even see her own hair falling out. Of course she snapped. Of course his optimism felt like a lie to her. This is what terminal illness does to people

Everyone comparing this to Your Lie in April and I'm terrified they're right. September deadline. Memories slipping. Slow deterioration. Kakeru's getting his world torn apart in real time and he still shows up with drawings for the kids. That ending walking scene felt like a goodbye and I hate it
