Taiga running for student council president is chaotic but also smart writing. It shows how she deals with problems and she doesn’t talk things out, she takes action. That’s consistent with her character.

This episode is strong because it adds depth to Kitamura. Before this, he felt kinda one note, but here you see how expectations and responsibility finally got to him. It makes his character way more human.

Kitamura going blonde was wild 😭 but it actually works narratively because it visually represents his internal breakdown. The show uses that sudden change to signal that even the “perfect” guy has been under pressure the whole time.
