Hmm interestinggggg. Even though it’s lighter, the episode still contributes to character dynamics, especially in how relationships are shifting after the festival arc.

Ami’s role here is important cause her commentary adds a layer of self-awareness to the story. She basically highlights the emotional tension that the others are avoiding. Queen right there

This episode works as a breather, but it’s not meaningless. The “good luck” rumor adds humor while also showing how others perceive Taiga versus who she really is.
