Nothing major going on except for major revelations: Rynn's struggle, Gugu's original family, and most of all, how powerful Fushi is! It's hilarious listening to Fushi as he is speaking more but in a childlike way. Also, you'll find yourself grooving already to the opening theme.

We get to know more about Gugu's past when he was still with his older brother, and the reason why he keeps trying to help his older brother even though his brother left him. I love how Rean share's her worries about her life at home with Gugu, it show's they're getting closer.

Episode Context

Positioned just past the midpoint of the 20-episode season, 'Deep Memories' builds directly on the camaraderie established in the preceding 'Monster Brothers' arc, deepening Fushi and Gugu's relationship through shared vulnerability. This reflective pause serves as emotional groundwork for the upcoming 'New Family' arc, where newly forged connections will be tested. It's a classic mid-season pivot, consolidating character development before the narrative escalates toward its back half.
