EPISODE REVIEWS

More of a lighthearted focused on character interactions. Gives the historical storyline a bit more weight while still keeping the overarching mystery on the horizon. The pacing is solid and the interactions between the cast and the featured scientist is noticeably more natural than some earlier episodes.

Every anime needs a beach episode, no matter the plot. I get why we keep going back to Europe and the US since they have been huge innovation powerhouses across history, but I feel like we could've also explored at least one Arabic or East Asian scientist by now. Besides that, It's kinda sad the way Mari's mother talks about her marriage, even if it doesn't seem to faze her.

This was more of a lighthearted episode. There were also some comedic scenes. I'm curious about Dr. Hayase's and Mikage's personal goals, though. I just hope we get some answers before the series ends. Also, don't forget to watch until the end of the credits. You'll enjoy it.
