A rather compelling entry. And start of another two parter arc. The historical setting feel well integrated into the adventure, with a memorable featured scientist as well. Exposition is also noticeable better. Less info dump and more natural discoveries, which does wonders for its pacing.
I think it's a good thing this anime keeps doing two episode arcs instead of cramming everything into a single one. I think Mari being concerned about her mother getting into an affair is weird but kinda hilarious. There seems to be no real perception of time from the perspective of the time travelers, we knew this already but it's way more drastic with Eiji than with Mari.
A must-watch episode. A major turn of events changes part of the story. I'm curious about Dr. Hayase's relationship with his family. Why does he keep going missing? Haha. His family is so understanding, if I were in their position, I'd be a little sad about it. The educational segment at the end is also a must-watch.
