I wasn't expecting it too get so intense in the end, although I do think Mari caved in way too easily even if her heart was in the right place. They managed to tie all the plot points neatly in the end without forgetting the premise of the series during the climax of the episode. Also Rika spent like 3 days at the nursery since everyone kinda forgot about her, poor thing
What a finale! At first, I was hesitant that I would like this anime, but overall, it was great. From the time travel, paradoxes, scientists, inventions, family relationships, and friendships, I was truly touched. The episode was intense and had some sad moments. There was never a dull moment.
