I wasn't expecting it too get so intense in the end, although I do think Mari caved in way too easily even if her heart was in the right place. They managed to tie all the plot points neatly in the end without forgetting the premise of the series during the climax of the episode. Also Rika spent like 3 days at the nursery since everyone kinda forgot about her, poor thing
