Ajisai as main character in this episode = 10/10. A hot spring trip changes the scenery completely. The background art during the travel scenes looked beautiful. It was a refreshing change of pace.

Episode Context

Sitting at the three-quarter mark of the season, Episode 9 arrives after the Mai and Satsuki tension found resolution in Episode 8, freeing the narrative to expand its lens to the broader cast. This installment enriches Ajisai's characterization and her bond with Renako, deepening the relationship web heading into the final stretch. It directly sets the table for Episode 10's tantalizing two-person trip premise, signaling that the show is tightening its emotional threads as it approaches the finale.
