This arc has been built up a bit with the interactions between Renako and Ajisai on the sidelines of the earlier two arcs, but it demonstrates that this series is one about more than just the main character's interactions with the first girl who approached her, unlike most yuri.

Episode Context

Positioned at episode 10 of 12, this follows directly from Episode 9's visit to Ajisai's house and continues an intentional escalation of intimacy between the leads as the series approaches its conclusion. The trip format isolates Renako and Ajisai from their usual social circles, creating space for the kind of emotional groundwork that typically precedes a finale-arc payoff. With only two episodes remaining, this installment serves as the critical bridge between mid-season relationship building and whatever resolution the final episodes deliver.
