EPISODE REVIEWS

A fun take on girls-love, as Renako tries to step outside her comfort zone and make friends with the school's most popular girls. However, her new friends may have more than friendship in mind, setting the stage for a complicated battle between friendship and romance.

The facial expressions absolutely carried the comedy. The animation is very nice, it hooked me immediately. The pacing is extremely fast.

Episode Context

As the series premiere of a 12-episode run, this episode is entirely foundational, establishing Renako's internal conflict, introducing Mai, and setting the comedic and emotional baseline for everything to come. There's no prior context needed; this is your entry point. It feeds directly into episode 2, 'First Kiss?! No Freaking Way!', which escalates the dynamic between Renako and Mai significantly.
