This episode blew me away with its haunting character moments and high-stakes drama. The psychological toll on the cast is visible in every scene, making their desperate struggle against destiny feel raw and deeply personal.

Episode Context

Coming off episode 21's escalation of tensions with Zaibach, this episode pivots inward to explore Folken's history and motivations, context that has been building since his introduction and is now essential heading into the final stretch. The revelations here directly inform the emotional and strategic stakes of episode 23, 'Storm Premonition,' where allied forces prepare for the conflict ahead. With only four episodes remaining, this is the series laying its deepest character groundwork before the endgame.
