Lorenya makin bertambah lagi. Aku suka cara mereka menyelipkan atau menambah cerita flashback dengan cara yang tidak bertahap-tahap seperti ini. Awalnya aku pikir kita mau ada dalam subplot yang berbeda, tapi ternyata masih di dalam plot utama. Bagus sekali. Semuanya punya hubungan antara Hitomi dan neneknya.

This episode feels like a turning point where many overarching lore pieces start locking into place. The sense of wonder mixed with existential mystery creates a captivating atmosphere that keeps you completely glued to the screen.

Episode Context

Positioned at episode 16 of 26, this lands right in Escaflowne's dense mid-arc stretch where mythology overtakes battlefield momentum. It follows 'Lost Paradise,' where Van's personal reckoning and new threats raised the emotional stakes, and directly sets the table for 'The Edge of the World,' which pushes the cast toward the heart of Atlantis and its deepest secrets. This is essential connective tissue, skip it and the back half of the series loses significant emotional and narrative context.
