EPISODE REVIEWS

Very good

The awkwardness in that lab was so thick you could cut it with a knife and Morinaga trying to act normal is definitely not working

tingle

Tatsumi is such a total nightmare and the way he just snaps at everything is kind of hilarious but also terrifying when you think about them living together

Episode Context

As the concluding episode of a two-part OVA, this chapter carries the full weight of closure, there is no next episode to defer resolution to. Episode 1 established Morinaga's unrequited feelings and the fraught power imbalance between him and Tatsumi; this episode is where those foundations are tested and the relationship's shape is defined. For fans considering the broader Challengers universe this OVA connects to, this episode functions as both a standalone conclusion and a thematic entry point into the source manga's larger story.
