EPISODE REVIEWS

That ending feels like a total cliffhanger and it is obvious they just want you to go buy the manga but the tension between the lab assistant and his senpai is so thick

The animation for this old OVA is actually decent and Souichi is definitely a tyrant but seeing him get flustered after being such a jerk all the time was interesting at least

Episode Context

As the first of two OVA episodes, this entry carries the full weight of establishment, introducing Morinaga and Tatsumi's dynamic from scratch with no prior context assumed. Everything that follows in Episode 2 depends on the groundwork laid here. Watch it before anything else; there is no predecessor, and skipping it means entering the conclusion without the foundation.
