Asako's backstory is a more fascinating addition to the mystery of Hikaru's story. The overnight bonding episode of our MC's is quite enjoyable to watch them being happy as friends. The bonding before the storm is tense and heart-wrenching, but it's so dramatic and teary-eyed.

If I had to describe this episode, it would be "terrifying". Seeing what's behind Hikaru, which would be similar to his "real" form, undoubtedly generates a feeling that many film studios would pay to create in the viewer. Nothing too over the top, but with an intention.
