The Squid Girl 2

They started the episode so strong with a sudden enactment of an "invasion" situation. It was so funny and chaotic, finally Squid Girl manages to conquer the Lemon Restaurant, only to be defeated by everyone, honestly, does she ever stand a chance? Lol. The second episode segment suddenly took a more heartwarming and wholesome approach with Eiko and Squid Girl. Prepare some tissue because it's quite sad! But near the end they pull it back with a little comedy. Overall, it was a very good episode, worthy of an ending! Squid Girl is a very good watch, the kind of anime you watch while you're winding down after a busy day at work, perfect for some good laughs without any heavy plots and sometimes occasional cute moments. Give it a try!

Such a funny episode! I was laughing so hard with the Hypnosis episode segment, it was so chaotic, I really had thought Squid Girl have some magical powers, lol. But it's another failed invasion! The next episode segment was also so absurdly chaotic, lol. I never thought that The Three Stooges and Ayumi's dad collaborating would be such an unhinged episode, I was laughing non stop, it was just too funny. The last episode segment was also funny and heartwarming-- for a short while. Lol. Overall I'd rate this whole episode very highly! It was such a fun watch!

A very funny episode, easily one of my favorite, the episode segment about the grill was super funny, I can't believe Eiko tried to gaslight Chizuru, lol. At the end as always, Takeru is the only sane sweetheart among them, I really enjoyed that. Next segment episode was also so hilarious, seeing Goro so beaten up but with a smiling face was so chaotic, lol. The ending episode segment was funny too. Overall the energy in this episode was chaotic all throughout. A great watch!

Oh my gosh! That was such an epic episode, the Play House segment had me laughing like a maniac, it was so hilarious! Kiyomi suddenly imitating a pregnant belly was so unexpected that I burst out laughing! Easily my favorite segment! The second segment was already funny, with a very unexpected ending, lol. The third segment kind of fell a bit short, but honestly, given the first one was very funny, I'd say the whole episode is rather entertaining and deserve a watch!

This was another funny episode from first to last, I was laughing non stop. The burglar episode was so random yet so funny, filled with misunderstanding and ended with a full bang. The second episode was even funnier, seeing Squid Girl struggling to keep down her urges until she's practically hallucinating, lol. But thank goodness Chizuru comes to the rescue! The last segment was overall funny and wholesome. I'd say this whole episode is chaotic and funny. Definitely one of my favorite episode! A must watch!

I really loved this episode, especially the first and second segment. The first segment episode was about Ayumi's father, the whole episode is so funny and wholesome, filled with funny misunderstanding, but it was all just his way of showing affection, albeit a bit creepy and overboard, lol. The second segment was also funny but it was overshadowed by the first and last segment episode. The last segment episode was about Squid Girl's invasion club which was really really cute and wholesome! Definitely a must watch episode!

The first episode, exercising was so hilarious, and I didn't Chizuru and Goro to be that hilarious, but of course, Chizuru is as OP as always, lol. The second episode was also very funny, and the ending was peak comedy. I really laughed non stop. They ended this episode with another Squid adventure with mini Squid Girl, which was very very cute. Overall a very nice episode and balanced all throughout.

I was literally almost crying by the first episode with Takeru's toy car, but they really throw in that ending and had me burst out laughing, lmao. The second episode's ending and the last episode's ending was also so chaotic, I really couldn't stop laughing the entire episode. This is easily one of their best episode you can't skip!

Such a cute and funny episode. Eiko was definitely iconic when they were learning English. I was laughing so much. And the second episode ending was so iconic, Chizuru looks so deadly I thought she was serious lol. The last episode was the cherry on top, I love how they animated Squid Girl in chibi, in her little adventure world, only to be bamboozled by the ending! Overall such a great episode, light hearted yet still very funny and chaotic!

I never knew I needed Squid Girl interacting with a dog as an episode?! But that was so cute and hilarious I wanted more! Lol. What a chaotic duo! The exercise episode was so funny and so catchy at the same time, what are all those moves, lol. And it ended with such a heart warming episode with Goro. Overall, this is such a good and enjoyable episode, it keeps getting funnier and funnier. You just can't miss it!

Such a cute episode with the kindergarten kids! In the end she's still easily beatable even by kids, but at the same time she's still very much loveable. It was so fun seeing her interact with them. The cosplay episode was funny too. It was so funny seeing Nagasaki in a new light, I wish there was more! Overall, this was such a fun episode, you definitely can't miss it. A worthy watch that will make you laugh non stop.

Such a cute and chaotic start for the show. Squid girl thinking that her tactics of invasion are working, was so funny, only to be beaten by Chizuru's death glare. The ending of the episode was sweet and funny too. It's such an easy watch and filled with laughter, give it a try if you're bored and wanted to watch something simple and light hearted.

Last episode and it ended the series really well. And plus, ending the whole show with a festival scene was the cherry on top, because every slice of life anime needs one at least HAHA. Anyways, really love this series and all of its chaotic-ness. A solid 8/10 stars! The pacing throughout the series was so stable and honestly, none of them left a negative taste for me! The comedy and humor was also always spot on and hilarious, and it really never gets boring even though they repeat the same shenanigans!

Comedy wasn’t really as on point for this one, but still, it’s still a pretty fun episode to watch. Especially with the robot squid girl thing, that one was pretty absurd to begin with 😭 But we got squid girl and chizuru moments (which is rare tbh), so that’s a win HAHA

Another favorite episode! I love how they spotlighted the two sisters in this episode, especially Chizuru, who honestly rarely gets scenes on her own. But this one really did it for me HAHA. Especially the training scene with Ayumi! 😭 That one was pure comedy gold! I actually laughed out loud throughout that scene, and genuinely the rest of the episode as well! Top episode for suree

Pretty nice episode, and I especially found the part where Squid Girl JUST started to comprehend what a schedule looks like was pretty funny. And also, I find it HILARIOUS whenever Eiko just smacks Ika’s head because of how absurd or chaotic she’s being😭 But I didn’t expect a bit heart-warming scene at the end there. So that was neat!

Gotta say, this one was not as fun or chaotic as the previous episodes, but the plot was still highly entertaining haha. Seeing Ika constantly battling her desire to eat shrimp was quite hilarious and the ending to the burglar story was also super unexpecting😭

LOVED this episode. Starting from the first half, the story with Ayumi’s father and his constant terrifying tone (especially with Eiko’s reactions) was actually the definition of comedic gold 😭 I just love that scene. And the second half was also pretty on par! Not as iconic as the first story, but with the story on Ika’s memory was also as entertaining.

Goro was actually such a simp and dork in this episode😭 but anyways, the SP plot was lowkey so hilarious and it's definitely the highlight for me in this one🫶🏻 again, the humor and scenes NEVER seem to dissapoint. Ps. Seeing tiny squid girl at the end there was ADORABLE

I really can't comprehend how they make each episode unique and have fresh humor every single time! Seriously! Each one seemed to have its own plot and even if they're set in the same place, it never gets boring. And in this episode's case, really loved the first plot surrounding Takeru's toy car. The ending for that one really took me out😭👌🏻genuinely love Squid Girl and Takeru's bond🥹🫶🏻
