They started the episode so strong with a sudden enactment of an "invasion" situation. It was so funny and chaotic, finally Squid Girl manages to conquer the Lemon Restaurant, only to be defeated by everyone, honestly, does she ever stand a chance? Lol. The second episode segment suddenly took a more heartwarming and wholesome approach with Eiko and Squid Girl. Prepare some tissue because it's quite sad! But near the end they pull it back with a little comedy. Overall, it was a very good episode, worthy of an ending! Squid Girl is a very good watch, the kind of anime you watch while you're winding down after a busy day at work, perfect for some good laughs without any heavy plots and sometimes occasional cute moments.
