This was another so-so episode, and I got a bit bored. It didn’t really capture my interest compared to the previous episodes. The pacing of the story became even slower. The only thing I really understood was that even though they weren’t physically together, they were still somehow connected. Hopefully, the upcoming episodes will have better and more catchy scenes.

I was so gripped when Erika revealed a deeper side to her dark past, which made me feel deeply for her. Mikado trying to process everything just added to the incredible heartbreak

mystery aur psychological stories aur bhi badh gaya. Curse related scenes kaafi creepy the aur atmosphere dark vibe maintain karta raha. Mikado aur Hiyakawa ke beech moments kafi awkward lage. Story slow hain, let's watch what happens next

Episode Context

Episode 4 marks a tonal shift toward psychological unease as Sankaku Mado settles into its darker undercurrents. The title says it all, expect a trap closing around Mikado and Hiyakawa as the consequences of their supernatural dealings start compounding. The pacing is deliberately measured here, prioritizing atmosphere and dread over action. Their partnership gets stress-tested in ways that foreground the show's BL dynamics alongside genuine horror tension, making the power imbalance between them feel increasingly fraught. Themes of trust, fear, and moral compromise take center stage, with the episode leaning harder into psychological horror than the creature-feature elements of earlier installments. If you've been watching for the uneasy chemistry between the leads and the creeping sense that something much larger is at play, this episode rewards that investment with mounting suspense and emotional complexity.
