This episode feels more grounded since it focuses on Yukichi and Saku's everyday life at home. We also get to meet Saku's parents, finally. I always wondered how they let someone so hopeless with chores live alone lolol. Special mention to Yukichi's wild imagination and adorable attachment towards Saku despite Yukichi constantly scolding her 🥹 I love Yukichi and his expressions so much <3

Behind every human , there is a masterful cat is what I wIll say about this episode, I enjoy how sometimes it feels like Saku is the cat and the cat is Saku. I love how Saku got Yukichi a present and he didnt use it the way she expected. Yukichi gets so happy for the things you would never expect a cat to be happy about .This anime is definitely so unpredictable lol.

This little rascal is always up to something! I can’t help but wonder what it’s like to be Yukichi, who’s always looking after him😂 The narrative is quite grounded in everyday reality, very down to earth yet never boring, as it’s interspersed with entertaining comedy. Yukichi was absolutely adorable during the photo shoot. It was hilarious, this episode has actually made me want to get a cat😭

Episode Context

Sitting at the midpoint of the 13-episode run, Episode 6 pivots from Episode 5's social outing, Yukichi attending a birthday party, toward Saku's personal and family life, introducing her mother's influence as a new comedic ingredient. This expansion of the supporting cast adds texture heading into the season's second half. Episode 7 will shift gears again to showcase Yukichi's DIY abilities, continuing the series' episodic exploration of just how absurdly capable this cat really is.
