The opening scene was absolutely awesome! This episode contains a lot of dueling scenes and can be humbling to people who constantly belittle others. Shippou arrogance was definitely challenged this time.

What an exciting start to the episode! Seeing the characters in action is awesome, but Shippou has such an arrogant personality that it’s actually pretty annoying. On the other hand, I’m absolutely loving the showcase of the students' abilities.

The tension between Shippou and Saegusa has reached its peak. Takuma's display of his skills, while the Saegusa brothers watch, shows the depth of the double seven rivalry. The animation in the magic sequences is very clear. Biting but solid.

This episode closes out the Double Seven arc, resolving the personal disputes that erupted following the Stellar Reactor experiment's success in the previous installment.
