the first episode does something really smart — it doesn't try to introduce you to all 18 idols at once. instead it focuses on DRAMATIC STARS and lets you breathe. Tendou Teru is a lawyer who genuinely believes his calling is to make people smile, and one night out drinking leads to him crossing paths with Kashiwagi Tsubasa and Sakuraba Kaoru through the Producer. it's a low-key premiere but it works because the concept of "professionals leaving their careers to become idols" is strong enough that you don't need explosions to sell it. Teru's warm enthusiasm immediately makes him likeable and the show wastes no time establishing that these are people with genuine reasons for being here, not just pretty faces chasing fame. not a flashy start but a solid and warm one.
What a nice intro we’ve got here! Totally loving our MC here, Tendou Teru is such a novel protag in this genre that's usually full of high schoolers LOL. 😅 Considering that this anime title is carrying the name of THE Im@s series, it’s got some big expectations to fill. So far, so good though! The dynamics established here are gonna be so fun!!
This episode look's like a boy band trying to figure out on how they going to start in their career has an artist. It all begin to start a brand new career for the people and management that has believe on them.
