Man, reforms are really hard to deal with. The episode pretty much deals with a sort of issue of identity. What happens to an idol if you remove what makes them special? That's pretty much what Usamin goes through, without her personal quirk, the audience was not motivated at all.

Miku and Nana make a surprisingly good focus pair here, especially with the episode asking what makes an idol identity meaningful. The comedy never fully disappears, but there is real care behind its message about choosing what brings people joy. The bunny energy is low-key carrying haha

Yep, I've always liked how this anime builds its work environment. It's honestly so damn good. I can pretty much understand why the new director wanted them to cut some of the "fun" programs. Like, they wanted 346 Production to be more like Hoshimi Production (ifykyk) , where the idols focus more on performances, live shows, and all that, a completely different league from entertainment. Meanwhile, 346 Production's whole foundation is entertainment, which helps each idol develop their own unique character. That's what makes them different. Honestly, neither side is wrong, it's just a difference in perspective. 365 Production has always had a more peaceful workplace where the idols and fans actually support each other, and that's what makes their approach feel so unique.
