Evil woman arrives and changes everything. A more grim like episode that one wouldn't expert to have this early into the season. I've always liked Kaede so having an episode about her is awesome, seeing both the serious Kaede and also seeing her joke about drinks and pubs a needed relief during the episode.
This is more reflective than flashy, but it handles the girls' worries with enough sincerity to land. Kaede's smaller gig gives the episode a warm reminder of why the idol side matters beyond numbers and prestige. The pacing is quiet, though the emotional direction is a W
HOLY SHI.... WHAT GLIMPSE OF AN EMOTIONAL COASTER DID I JUST WITNESS?!?! No, seriously, you NEED to watch Season 1 first to fully feel this. This episode is filled with despair and doom... but even in the darkness, the light eventually finds its way through and shows them what their "way" should actually be. "She" is truly the MVP of this episode. She just randomly appeared, but eventually she straight up conquered the entire episode by herself. What a damn idol she is... No, this is just beautiful for a 2nd episode. No unnecessary drama... just straight up life lessons, hope, and growth. MANNN, EVEN THE SONG IS BEAUTIFUL😭 Oh yes, another thing: we actually got a different opening from S1 lel. I thought they weren't gonna change it since the 1st episode still used the same song, but eventually I realized it was just a transition so we could get used to it. Here, S1 actually ends, and we're now stepping into a new future for our Cinderella Girls.
