EPISODE REVIEWS
This episode does a good job introducing a new character, it also uses comedy well to soften what could've been a jealous encounter. The training scene here was also a nice touch to show Saito's growth. I really like that action near the end, it made me wanting for more and made me realize that the episode is now ramping up the stakes for the next one.
Episode 2 is great at expanding the mystery, the Water Spirit is a classic fantasy element that adds a lot of depth to the setting but the real heart of the episode is watching Louise's vulnerability. She's always been proud and explosive, but this situation is pushing her to show a side she usually hides.
