the recap clips in the middle of this one drove me up the wall. I came for the dungeon not a montage of the dungeon I just sat through
I couldn't stop smiling when Luce threw that thrust at the tail and the critical popped. she trusted his insane plan without blinking and it paid off. that partnership is the whole reason I keep watching
This is the manga fight with a bunch of filler stuffed inside it. The core of the episode is great and the golden aura moment is worth the wait but every time it cut away to a repeat I felt the air leave the room. People should just read the source if the pacing keeps up like this
Luce getting called a damsel is unfair here. She landed the crit that created the whole opening and Elma only wins because of her Dice Thrust. The duo thing is what makes these fights work for me
That level jump from 54 to 62 off one centipede seems a little generous but the way Elma flips his whole build into a no-defense gamble makes it feel earned. Zero defense for that much attack is such a heavy knight thing to do
Ending right at the impact is cruel. I wanted the loot drops. A level 75 evolved monster has to drop something absurd and instead we get a fade to black and a walk to the guild
Death Armed design is genuinely unsettling with that one eye. The needles coming out of nowhere kept me tense every single time it moved
A 75 boss in a low level dungeon and they just walk out like nothing. The guild attendant's face when they heard the number was the funniest part of the episode
You could tell the studio blew the budget on that transformation sequence and then realized they ran out of episode. Gorgeous glow effects. Not much else happening around them
I couldn't stop smiling when the system showed his defense dropping to zero and attack skyrocketing. That is the whole gimmick of the class paying off in one screen. Also Hadein walking in at the end with that blue hair and smirk already has me curious about her
Watching Luce cry after the fight got me more than the finisher did. She trusted a plan that looked suicidal and it worked out. Then the level jump to 62 felt earned
I'm firmly on the side that the Heavy Knight is not broken and Elymas is just a guy who knows the game. The whole defense-to-zero trade only works because he knew exactly when the monster would swing. Anyone else would be dead in two seconds
Ruche Ackerman is real and I refuse to accept any other name for her now. That spinning barrage on the centipede's back was the whole episode for me. Also Elymas blowing it with the Existence Evolution is karma for skipping the Mithril knife trip
mithril drop was 25 million gold and then the haul totalled 68 million. that is the good stuff. seeing Luce get a custom knife made from the haul instead of just selling it was a nice touch honestly fun to watch them plan
A hidden skill he refuses to use casually is such a tease and then the episode just ends. Cruel
my guy spent the whole fight protecting her and then dropped the apology right before the gamble. that guilt hit harder than the centipede ever could
The second that purple aura crept over the corpse you just knew the fight was not over. That evolution shift from an easy back-attack exploit to a level 75 nightmare is exactly the kind of thing that makes Elma sweating matter
Three episodes in this hole now. Give me the family drama back or give me nothing
Dude fed the boss magic stones on purpose and Elma only caught it after the thing turned level 75. Someone is out here hunting him
That whole Acrobatic Barrage sequence looked like the dual blades spin from Monster Hunter and I am here for it
