the blatant fanservice with those massive chests.... right.... literally got so many icks watching this premiere i cannot even lie, i hate it. it feels exactly like every other generic isekai ever made, im curious a bit tho

i seriously dont get what is going on with that crazy OVERLY DETAILED HAIR. The camera work is way too extra for no reason.

Okay, who gave Meliodus a spear and shield? Or is it that one guy from Tokyo Revengers? But seriously, this was a good flagship episode. The animation is great but really blurry at times. Not sure about almost Harley Quinn, though she seems nice.

Story okay but the artstyle switch and overall art not okay

Just because you can doesn't mean you should. Noodle hair studio decided that with the short attentions span of viewers these days they wanted to start with a whole ass montage, and they just wont stop moving the camera in a 3D space as if its good looking, its impressive only when its directed right or there's a purpose in the animation. For their shots its far from being purposeful and more like a demo reel of what they can do.

The switching between different arts style for the hair is also very off putting. Who decided that ps2 textures 3D is worth showcasing.

⚠️BIG WARNING before watching this episode: If you are susceptible with cyber sickness then I would highly advice not to watch this anime as it contains fast camera angle switching and panning⚠️ As you may be familiar with studio GoHands, they are known for their highly detailed animation and "creative" camera angles. One thing I would say about this episode is they have gone overboard on the animation with the excessive panning and switching of camera angles right at the start. Sure the environment art is fantastic and is quite realistic but they are clashing with the character art itself. The story isn't new to me since I have watched too much of this kind of story that I could somehow predict what eould happen next.

The blue energy effect when he used Castle Wall Return to blast those frogs was a great touch and it shows how broken his build actually is

I felt so bad for the butler giving him that small sack of gold while his own father was treating him like garbage but at least he is free now

Maris having that smug look while stealing his entire inheritance was so incredibly cold and it makes you want to see her reaction when he gets strong

I thought it was funny how the system voice confirmed his defense boost and then he immediately went out to prove that everyone in that room was wrong

Starting with those high level fights really helps show why he wants this specific build and the animation during the spider battle was super fluid

Getting kicked out in the rain with just a tiny bag of gold is such a rough start but he took it like a champ while everyone else was laughing

My favorite thing is how he actually knows the meta instead of just getting lucky and seeing him pick the tank class on purpose was a great twist

Watching that dad lose his mind over a class name was actually wild and then he just punches his own kid in front of everyone for a status screen

I seriously love how GoHands does their lighting and movement even if it makes some people dizzy because it makes the armor look so cool and flashy during the fights

That castle wall return skill looked so satisfying when it just vaporized all those frogs at once and the novice kid was just standing there in total shock
