I think this is my favorite version of Maya so far, because the countess role fits the horror elements so well Watching her manipulate the whole court, and seeing the jealousy drive everyone to ruin, was exactly the kind of dark fantasy I wanted from this series The ending where everything just falls apart around her felt really earned and sinister
