The Duke of Death and His Maid

Things start getting a bit more serious here. Something about Alice’s past comes up, and it makes the whole situation feel more uneasy than before.

Kinda sad watching this one. It’s not just the curse anymore, but also the gap between them. That moment when Alice seems aware of her position as just a maid hits a bit.

Really nice seeing Bocchan speak up more here. For someone usually this quiet, that moment feels pretty big.

I always like episodes where everyone gathers like this. The Christmas atmosphere was really nice, and the moments between Bocchan and Alice felt especially warm.

I really liked the flashback in this episode. Seeing the moment when Bocchan once tried to push Alice away makes their relationship now feel even more touching.

It’s nice getting back to the slice-of-life moments again. Even while they’re trying to figure out the curse, the quiet scenes around the mansion still make the episode really enjoyable.

It was interesting finally seeing more of the witch world. The designs and atmosphere were a bit unexpected, but it makes the story feel bigger than just the mansion. The scenes with Cuff and Zain were pretty fun too.

Zain is pretty funny, he brings a different energy to the episode. At the same time, Bocchan and Alice feel closer than before, and it finally feels like they might start looking for a way to break the curse.

So there are other witches out there after all. They still don’t know much about the curse yet, but at least this gives Bocchan a bit of hope that there might be a way to break it.

Alice really loves teasing Bocchan, and she knows exactly how to fluster him. Their interactions are always playful, and it’s funny seeing Bocchan try to stay calm while Alice keeps pushing his buttons.

Their relationship is really nice to watch, but it also makes you nervous sometimes because of Bocchan’s curse. The dance scene was sweet, but it also felt risky since they can’t touch at all.

The premise is really unique. It’s funny but also a bit nerve-wracking watching Alice constantly get so close to Bocchan despite his curse. Their interactions already make the episode pretty entertaining.

The character development of the Duke, who is finally standing up for himself against his mother, was very impressive. However, the season ends on a major cliffhanger, creating a strong hook that will definitely keep you invested in the next season's plot of the series.

seeing the town was so exciting, still a slow starter but this was a great intro to the outside world

The music aspects are really inviting, still a bit slower paced with sprinkles of what's to come later but more with Alice's history than the Duke's. Cute going into town episode though

This episode is more of an introduction to other supporting roles and then has the slow build of Alice and the Duke's relationship, overall a more relaxed episode

After settling into the animation style, I though it was a decent blend of funny and serious with interesting foreshadowing at the end. Makes me curious to what's coming up next

This finale was the perfect emotional payoff for the season. It’s a beautiful, bittersweet ending that shifts from sad survival to determined love. Seeing Duke finally claim his right to be happy and his love for Alice was so satisfying.
