I really liked the flashback in this episode. Seeing the moment when Bocchan once tried to push Alice away makes their relationship now feel even more touching.
Winter is back, and the aesthetic of the black clothes against the white snow is striking—the CGI actually handles high-contrast scenes like this quite well. While the pacing is slow, the focus on the Duke’s isolation during the cold months adds a lot of emotional depth.

this episode was incredibly beautiful. It truly brought tears to my eyes witnessing the backstories of both Alice and Bocchan. The soundtrack in this episode was incredibly impressive. You could sense the distress that Bocchan was experiencing at that moment too.
