Episode Context

Positioned at episode 21 of 26, this lands deep in the final act's escalation phase. It follows directly from 'Corpses,' where defeated beasts mysteriously resurface, prompting the government's drastic vaccination response explored here. This episode establishes critical narrative threads, particularly around institutional manipulation and Jun's growing distrust, that feed directly into Episode 22, 'Wish,' where alliances shift and the human-devil beast conflict intensifies toward the series' endgame.
